MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024806 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'climbing assistive device for concerts.'
Inventor(s) include Prerna Tikku; Roopika Malhotra; Aamir Khan; and Dipanshu.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A climbing assistive device for concerts, comprising an elongated cuboidal frame 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface near an elevated structure,, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the frame 1, respectively to determine height of the elevated structure along with the user's height, plurality of cuboidal shaped bodies 3 for providing a staircase-like formation to the user to climb on the elevated structure, drawer arrangement 4 to extend/retract as per the determined height of the structure and the user, telescopically operated rods 5 to extend/retract for positioning an extendable bar 6 till upper body of other user to restrict access to the frame 1, and telescopically operated pole 7 to extend/retract for allowing the user to accommodate the link into the pole."
