MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012957 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'clothes drying device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A clothes drying device comprise of, a cylindrical hollow arranged with a set of L-shaped links 2, to give voice commands for securing the body 1 on a ground surface for hanging clothes to be dried in sunlight, a set of motorized sliders 5 for translating the links 2 towards the ground surface, a cuboidal block 6 for positioning the rods 7 out from the body 1, a gear-and-linkage arrangement 12 for lifting and positioning the block 6 at mouth portion of the body 1, a camera 9 for detecting presence of the rods 7 out from the body 1, multiple motorized hinges 10 for tilting and deploying the rods 7 parallelly to the ground surface, a weight sensor for detecting weight of the clothes hung on each of the rods 7, and a holographic projection unit 11 for projecting holograms to guide user in appropriately hanging the clothes."
