MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066017 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on July 10, for 'clothing treatment device.'

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "To solve the described problem, the present invention relates to a clothing treatment device which comprises: a cabinet; an inner case provided inside the cabinet to provide an accommodation space in which clothing is accommodated; a machine chamber provided so as to communicate with the inner case and provided with heaters for generating steam to be supplied to the inner case and a compressor for generating hot air to be supplied to the inner case; through-holes provided so as to penetrate through the inner case to communicate with the machine chamber and introducing hot air and steam generated in the machine chamber into the inner case; and a hat treatment device provided inside the inner case so as to communicate with the through-holes to supply the hot air or steam to a hat, wherein the hat treatment device comprises body units provided so as to communicate with the through-holes to provide a space in which the hot air or steam flows and a hat fixing unit provided so as to communicate with the body units to support the inside of a hat and discharge the hot air or steam to the hat."
