MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517098344 A) filed by Groz-Beckert Kg, Albstadt, Germany, on Oct. 13, for 'clothing wire, clothing carrier and carding machine.'
Inventor(s) include Grossmann, Rainer; Zhang, Yuning; Leuner, Michael; Bravo Lomena, Stephen; and Kreller, Christian.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A clothing wire (1) according to the invention comprises a base portion (2) and a blade portion (5). The blade height (6) is greater than the base height (4). The blade portion has a plurality of identical tooth bodies (7). A tooth body extends in the longitudinal direction (x) between two first recesses (8) of the blade portion, said recesses extending in the height direction (y) at most toward the base portion. The tooth bodies are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction at a pitch (9). A first tooth tip (10) and at least one second tooth tip (11) are located on each tooth body. The first tooth tip adjoins a first recess (8) and points in the direction of said first recess. All first and second tooth tips point in the same direction. The clothing wire is characterized in that, on each tooth body (7), the first tooth tip (10) and the second tooth tip (11) farthest from the first tooth tip are located at a tooth tip distance (12) that is less than 50% of the pitch (9)."
