MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010779 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'clutch plate housing manufacturing system.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Manjit Singh; Vishal Saklani; Dipak Kumar Tomar; Yash Anand; and Aakash Rana.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A clutch plate housing manufacturing system, comprising a housing 1 developed to be positioned on a surface, a pair of containers 2 installed within the housing 1 stored with steel and iron scraps, a display panel 3 attached on the housing 1 for enabling user input commands, a mixing chamber 4 installed within the housing 1 for receiving scraps from containers 2, an image capturing module 5 installed within the housing 1 for determining molten state of the scraps, a mould 6 installed within the housing 1 for allowing the molten scraps to attain a solid shape of a clutch plate housing, a heat exchanger 7 installed around the mould 6 to perform rapid cooling of the molten form and a robotic cutter 8 installed on the housing 1 for removing excess material from the clutch plate housing."
