MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517046580 A) filed by Specialty Operations France, Lyon, France, on May 14, for 'coating compositions having improved properties comprising a polymer formed from polymerizable surfactants.'
Inventor(s) include Zhou, Lichang; Lee, Dongchul; Pakenham, Derek; Anderson, Eugene J.; Kang, Changheon; and Burel, Celine.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention generally relates to coating compositions comprising a polymer formed from at least one polymerizable surfactant, in which the coating compositions have improved performance properties, such as improved dirt pick-up resistance (DPUR), improved hardness, and improved blocking resistance."
