MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547097405 A) filed by Signify Holding B. V., Eindhoven, Netherlands, on Oct. 9, for 'cob holder.'
Inventor(s) include Chen, Feihong; Qin, Hexi; and Jiang, Lei.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A CoB holder (130) comprising a holding structure for a chip-on-board (CoB) light source, at least one terminal positioning slot (140) configured to receive a terminal, and at least one terminal (120) received within a respective terminal positioning slot. The at least one terminal comprises a receiving portion (121) for receiving a wire, a contact portion (122) that for making electrical contact with a CoB light source held by the CoB holder, and a connecting portion (123) connecting the receiving portion to the contact portion. The connecting portion is a twisted plate-shaped portion."
