MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007481 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 3, 2024, for 'collision prevention system for water vehicle.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a collision prevention system for water vehicle, comprising multiple L-shaped rods 1 installed on deck of a water vehicle, each arranged with a plate 2, an inflatable body 3 suspended from each rod 1 via a set of ropes 4 that are positioned around sides of water vehicle as per requirement of operator, a motorized roller 5 integrated with each rope 4 for unwrapping and releasing bodies 3 around sides of water vehicles as push- button 6 pressed by user to prevent collision, a pressure sensor installed with each bodies 3 for detecting pressure applied over bodies 3, a SONAR (Sound Navigation and Ranging) module installed on water vehicle for detecting any obstacle in path of water vehicle, and a tide sensor installed on water vehicle for detecting height of tide in water."
