MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537062620 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on July 1, for 'communication method and communication apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include You, Chunhua; Gu, Zhifang; and Fan, Qiang.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present application are a communication method and a communication apparatus, whereby an acquisition occasion of a TA of a candidate cell can be in advance of switching. In this way, before switching to the candidate cell, a service of a terminal can be transmitted by means of a source DU, and after switching to the candidate cell, the transmission of the service of the terminal can be continued by directly using a TA value of the candidate cell, which is acquired in advance, thereby facilitating the prevention of service interruption."
