MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537069378 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on July 21, for 'communication method and related apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A communication method and a related apparatus, which are applied to wireless local area network systems supporting IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi protocols, such as 802.11be, Wi-Fi 7 or EHT, and 802.11 series protocols such as 802.11be next-generation, Wi-Fi 8, UHR and Wi-Fi AI, and can also be applied to ultra-wideband-based wireless personal area network systems and sensing systems. An AP MLD sends at least one first frame on at least one first link, wherein the first frame indicates the effective start time of traffic identifier to link mapping; when the traffic identifier to link mapping indicates that a second link is closed, the time when the AP MLD closes the second link is not earlier than a time point Tb; when the traffic identifier to link mapping indicates that the second link is opened, the time when the AP MLD starts the second link is not later than a time point Ta; and Ta is earlier than Tb. The present application can improve the communication reliability."
