MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026069 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'compliant exercising assistive device for toddlers.'

Inventor(s) include Sonia Jindal; Dr. Parveen Singla; Dr. Amresh Kumar; Dr. Dinesh Arora; Vaibhav Gupta; Dhanraj; and Sumit Bhati.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A compliant exercising assistive device for toddlers, comprising, a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, multiple suction cups 4 arranged underneath the platform 1 to adhere to the surface for securing the platform 1 on the surface, a wearable component 8 by means of a telescopically operated rod 9 to accommodate a toddler's legs in the component 8 through a pair of openings arranged in the component 8, an elastic string 7 for allowing the toddler to apply force on the string 7 in view of jumping in a reciprocating motion on a double layered member arranged on the platform 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 to monitor movement of the user, and an electronically controlled nozzle 6 to dispense an appropriate amount of silicone gel in the member for providing a cushioned experience to the toddler's legs."
