MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514035514 A) filed by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd., Tokyo, on April 11, for 'composite comprising amorphous solid dispersion.'
Inventor(s) include Mitsuo Ishimaru; Shogo Warashina; and Takafumi Hoshino.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "There is provided a composite having a higher dissolution of a drug, the composite including at least a solid dispersion containing the drug and a carrier other than polyvinylpyrrolidone as well as HPMCAS outside the solid dispersion. More specifically, there is provided a composite including at least a solid dispersion containing at least a drug and a carrier selected from the group consisting of a vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer, methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose phthalate and first hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose acetate succinate; and second hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose acetate succinate outside the solid dispersion."
