MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056132 A) filed by Targazyme, Inc., Carlsbad, U.S.A., on June 11, for 'compositions and systems for combinatorial therapies containing fucosylated cells and immune checkpoint inhibitors and methods of production and use thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Bissonnette, Reid P.; and Koh, Lynnet.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Compositions, systems, and kits are disclosed that comprise at least one immune checkpoint inhibitor and at least one immune cell type for adoptive cell therapy, wherein the at least one immune cell type has been fucosylated ex vivo (fuco-ACT). Also disclosed are methods of making and using the compositions, systems, and kits."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 10, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/037141.
