MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066375 A) filed by Kenvue Brands Llc, Summit, U.S.A., on July 11, for 'compositions comprising compounds having retinol-like activity and a processed oat ingredient.'

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are skincare compositions comprising: a compound having retinol-like activity and a processed oat ingredient. Also provided are methods for treating skin comprising topically applying these compositions. Also provided are skincare compositions comprising 3-(4-farnesyloxyphenyl)-propionic acid; and a processed oat ingredient selected from the group consisting of fermented oat, colloidal oat, oat extract, oat oil, and combinations thereof, wherein the composition is in the form of a solution, suspension, emulsion, lotion, cream, serum, gel, stick, spray, ointment, liquid wash, soap bar, shampoo, hair conditioner, paste, foam, powder, mousse, shaving cream, hydrogel, or film-forming product."
