MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511126621 A) filed by Adeptiv AI Private Limited, Chandigarh, India, on Dec. 14, 2025, for 'computer-implemented system and method for managing governance and regulatory compliance of artificial intelligence (ai) use cases.'
Inventor(s) include Singla, Shikha; Aggarwal, Ankit; and Singh, Sukhdeep.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are a computer-implemented system and method for managing governance and regulatory compliance of artificial intelligence (AI) use cases. The method includes receiving AI-use-case data from either pre-stored templates or a custom metadata interface, classifying the use case into lifecycle stages and risk categories, and invoking a control-assignment engine that maps governance controls from multiple compliance frameworks. The system computes a risk classification based on model provenance, data sensitivity, and deployment attributes, detects and logs runtime risk instances, and calculates a risk-resolution percentage. A graph-modelling module generates a workflow diagram representing model interconnections and data flow. A governance dashboard displays a compliance tracker, risk matrix, and auditor interface, enabling manual updates to control and risk statuses. The method automates compliance mapping, risk evaluation, and governance visualization to support real-time oversight and auditable lifecycle management of AI use cases."
