MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517049154 A) filed by Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co. Ltd., Beijing, on May 21, for 'configuration method and apparatus for radio resource management (rrm) measurement.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a configuration method and apparatus for radio resource management (RRM) measurement. The method comprises: receiving RRM configuration information of a first layer 1 (L1)/layer 2 (L2)-triggered mobility (LTM) candidate cell that is sent by a network side; and on the basis of the RRM configuration information of the first LTM candidate cell and/or first RRM measurement configuration information, determining RRM configuration information of a second LTM candidate cell, wherein the RRM configuration information of the second LTM candidate cell is used by a terminal to perform RRM measurement in a target candidate cell on the basis of LTM."
