MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517053495 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on June 2, for 'congestion notification method, apparatus, device, and storage medium.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to the technical field of communications, and provides a congestion notification method, an apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. If congestion occurs, a first node sends congestion-related information to a second node. Therefore, in the method provided by the present disclosure, a core network device acquires congestion-related information in a network of a wireless split architecture, and the core network device or an application server can timely adjust the rate according to the congestion-related information, thereby avoiding the situation of service delay or packet loss, and improving the quality of service."
