MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066469 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on July 11, for 'consecutive multi-slot resource selection method and apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of communications. Provided are a consecutive multi-slot resource selection method and apparatus, and a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: a terminal device determining m transport blocks (TBs) that reach a physical layer of the terminal device, wherein m is a positive integer greater than 1; and selecting, for the m TBs, resources which are consecutive in terms of time domain, and respectively sending the m TBs on the selected resources which are consecutive in terms of time domain, wherein at the time of selecting resources for any TB among the m TBs, a resource selection result of another TB for which resource selection has been executed before the TB is taken into consideration, and the resource selection result is a resource that has been selected and not used for actual transmission. By means of the method, resources which are consecutive in terms of time domain can be determined for M TBs, thereby implementing consecutive multi-slot resource selection, reducing the impact of LBT failure, and improving the channel access efficiency."
