MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311084009 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 8, 2023, for 'construction material packaging device.'
Inventor(s) include Manish Sharma; Pradeep Kumar; and Anikate Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A construction material packaging device comprising a cuboidal body 1 configured with rods 2 to provides support to body 1, a wheel 3 attached with rods 2 to move body 1, chambers 4 for storing spool 5 wrapped with bags, an inlet 6 crafted on chambers 4 for refilling of chambers 4, an imaging unit 7 for capturing surroundings images, a robotic arm 8 mapped on inlet 6 for withdrawing/inserting bags inside multiple cavities 9 crafted on a plate 10, multiple clippers 11 arranged on cavities 9 for gripping bags, a sliding unit 12 arranged within cavities 9 to move clippers 11, a hinge joint 13 connected between plate 10 and body 1 to move plate 10, a slider 14 arranged on plate 10 to move bar 15, a container 16 for storing ties, and grippers 17 for withdrawing ties from container 16 and tying bag to pack material."
