The control method comprises: in the process of an automatic cleaning device (100) changing directions after moving into a preset range of an obstacle (300), executing a supplemental cleaning action once after each time the automatic cleaning device (100) rotates by a preset angle, until the automatic cleaning device (100) completes direction changing, wherein supplemental cleaning actions comprise a backward action and a forward action (S401) The automatic cleaning device (100) executes a supplemental cleaning action during turning, thereby increasing the area of cleaning coverage, reducing a cleaning-missing region, and improving the cleaning effect of the automatic cleaning device (100)."
