MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023572 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'cosmetics application assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Arminder Kaur; and Krishan Raj Singh.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cosmetics application assistive device, comprises a circular platform 1 positioned on a fixed surface that accommodates a person, a curved shaped member 2 installed with the platform 1 using an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 3 assisting the makeup artist in make-up, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 mounted on the member 2 captures multiple images of the surrounding to determine the exact location of person's face, a plurality of plates 5 installed with a member 2 via telescopically operated links 6 illuminates the LED light 7 fabricated with each plate provide optimum light over person's face, an angle sensor positioned the plates 5 monitors angle of the plate, motorized pin joints configured between plates 5 and links 6 tilt the plates 5 to maintain optimal angle, plurality of suction cups 8 attached underneath the platform 1 adheres the platform 1 on fixed surface."
