Abstract: ABSTRACT The Smart Cradle for Baby Monitoring using. Machine Learning is an advanced baby care system designed to help parents monitor infant activities: and understand baby needs more effectively. The main objective of proposed project is to detect baby crying sounds and classify the type of cry such as hunger, stomach pain, discomfort, or sleep disturbance using Machine Learning techniques. The proposed system helps parents take quick action and provide proper care for the baby. In this project, the Random Forest Machine Learning algorithm is used for audio classification because of its good accuracy and performance. Audio inputs are collected through a microphone or recerded audio samples, and the .system analyzes the cry patterns to identify the baby's condition. In addition, sensor modules are included to monitor baby movement .and cradle conditions, improving sa.fety and real-time monitoring. A web-based application has also been developed to display Cry detection results, sensor information, and monitoring reports in an easy and user-friendly manner. The system can provide alerts and updates to parents whenever the baby cries or unusual conditions are detected. So far, the Machine Learning model, web development, and sensor implementation have been completed successfully. The remaining work focuses on integrating the hardware and software modules into a complete smart cradle system. The proposed project aims to provide a smart, reliable, and cost-effective baby monitoring .sblution that improves infant safety, reduces parental stress, and supports. modern childcare using intelligent technologies.
