MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018903 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'crates transportation assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A crates transportation assistive device includes a body 1 positioned on ground, a computing unit to input relocating location, a primary camera 2 detects location of crates, wheels 3 positions body 1 in proximity to each crates successively, a first plate 4 attached via two hinges 5 tilts and positions underneath crate(s), a conveyer 6 configured over plate 4 translates crate(s) within body 1, secondary camera 7 detects crate's dimensions and accordingly conveyer 8 arranges crates, an Infrared Counter 9 counts number of crates which upon matching with a threshold number, multiple load cells positioned on conveyer 8 detects total weight of crates, in case of receded weight, a second plate 10 configured via two sliders 11 positions over crates, two sliding units 12 translates first plate 4 in synchronization with hinges 5 and conveyer 6 to load crates on plate 10, wheels 3 positions body 1 at user-defined location."
