MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024009 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'curb construction device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A curb construction device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a surface, caterpillar wheels 2 for maneuvering the body 1 over the surface, touch interactive display panel 3 accessed by user to enter co-ordinates where the user desires to construct curb along with dimension of curb, GPS module to determine location where the user desires to construct the curb, primary chamber 4 to store water, sand, cement and gravel, iris lid 5 to create an opening to dispense cement, water, sand and gravel, motorized stirrer for mixing cement, water, sand and gravel to make a concrete mixture. Extendable hollow pipe 8 for extending and positioning a U-shaped member 9 on end portion of the pipe 8, electronically controlled nozzle 7 to dispense and translate the mixture via the pipe 8 over the surface and a speaker 6 to notify the user regarding filling of the primary chamber 4."
