According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a seat cushion extension apparatus designed to enhance the seating comfort by improving ergonomics and adaptability. The apparatus includes a cushion extension assembly (1), a linkage assembly (3) and a front flap assembly (5). The cushion extension assembly (1) includes a guide plate (7) installed on a seat pan (9) and a cushion extension pan (11) linked to the guide plate (7). A pivoting bracket (13) and a guide bracket (15) on the cushion extension pan (11) interacts with the linkage assembly (3) and the front flap (5). The linkage assembly (3) contains a linkage (21) connected to a rocker arm (23), which moves along the guide bracket (15). The front flap assembly (5) includes a bracket (25) connected to the pivoting bracket (13), enabling adjustable extension of the front flap through pivoting. The invention improves seating ergonomics by offering adjustable comfort tailored to user preferences."
