MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017922 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'customizable plant bending system.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A customizable plant bending system, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 installed on the body 1 accessed by user for selecting a user-desired shape of a tree, an AI based imaging unit 3 installed on the body 1 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the body 1, a laser emitter 4 installed on the body 1 for projecting beams of laser light on the branches, plurality of S-shaped frames 9 installed within the body 1 are accessed by the user for engaging the frames 9 at the projected points, wheels 7 are integrated with one of member 6 to move the frame over branch, plurality of hydraulically operated pushers 8 apply pressure on the branch and a speaker 5 installed on the body 1 to alert the user to dis-engage the frames 9 from tree."
