MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088298 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'customized headphone holding device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Vipin Solanki.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a customized headphone holding device, comprising a first and second elongated extendable bodies 1, 2, connected to each other via a rod 3 attached to center of the bodies for accommodating a headphone, a suction cup attached with first body for affixing the first body with a surface, an image capturing unit configured with an ultrasonic sensor installed with the first body for detecting headphone dimension, an extendable curved member 6 attached to the second body for providing barrier to headphones, a motorized hinge 7 embedded between the second body and rod to tilt the second body, a microphone 9 installed on the rod for enabling user's voice commands and a telescopically operated clipper 10 installed on the rod for accommodating headphones on the second body."
