MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074395 A) filed by Kenvue Brands Llc, Summit, U.S.A., on Aug. 5, for 'cutibacterium acnes biomimetic, prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic compositions for treatment of skin conditions.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Biomimetic, prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic compositions and methods of use thereof are disclosed. The biomimetic, prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic compositions may include bacteria of the genera Cutibacterium acnes (C. acnes), its culture and/or components thereof; and/or a substance that induces the growth or activity of C. acnes. The biomimetic, prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic compositions may be used in preventing, improving and/or treating such conditions such as atopic dermatitis."
