MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020751 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'data extraction assistive device for electronic chips.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A data extraction assistive device for electronic chips, comprising a housing 1 installed with a platform 2 for accommodating an electronic chip, a touch screen 3 installed on the housing 1 for enabling user input commands, an imaging unit 4 mounted within the housing 1 for detecting chip dimension, plurality of blocks 5 installed on the platform 2 for securing chip, an air compressor 6 installed within the housing 1 for blowing air to remove dust from the chip, a spiked brush 7 installed within the housing 1 for scrapping off epoxy coating from the chip, a primary gripper 8 installed within the housing 1 for gripping connection wires from a chamber 9 installed within the housing 1 and a secondary gripper 10 is configured within the housing 1 for gripping an unwrapped soldering wire that is cut by a motorized cutter 11 installed within the housing 1."
