MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537070796 A) filed by Beijing Roborock Innovation Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on July 25, for 'data processing method and apparatus for cleaning device, and storage medium and cleaning device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are a data processing method and apparatus for a cleaning device, and a storage medium and a cleaning device. The method comprises: acquiring the total cleaning area of at least one region to be cleaned; acquiring an actual cleaning area, which is obtained by means of exploration when a cleaning device executes a cleaning action in the at least one region to be cleaned; updating the total cleaning area on the basis of the actual cleaning area; and by means of the updated total cleaning area, calculating a first remaining cleaning area, in which the cleaning device has not yet executed the cleaning action, of the at least one region to be cleaned."
