MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411002708 A) filed by Hnnoix India Private Limited, Gurugram, Haryana, on Jan. 13, 2024, for 'data throughput improvement techniques for user equipment in wireless network.'
Inventor(s) include Hargovind Prasad Bansal.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system and method to optimize data throughput for user equipment (UE) in wireless communication networks. The system comprises a detection module within the UE to monitor real-time data throughput and detect throughput dips exceeding a predefined threshold, a reporting module to transmit related metrics to a server, and a server configured to aggregate and analyze data from multiple UEs using machine learning algorithms. The server generates a cell preference index and a RAT preference index to prioritize candidate cells and Radio Access Technologies (RATs) based on real-time performance metrics. A mobility decision module and a Preferred RAT decision module within the UE utilize these indices to adjust measurement reports, prioritize cells and RATs, and execute optimized mobility decisions and service acquisition processes. As such, the present invention ensures improved data throughput, reduced latency, and enhanced network performance through real-time adaptive decision-making."
