MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527053137 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on May 31, for 'data transmission method and device in roaming scenario and readable storage medium.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a data transmission method and device in a roaming scenario and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: sending a second request message to a visited central network function (V-Central NF) according to a first request message of a home network function H-Consumer NF, wherein the second request message is used for requesting setting data; after passing user consent-based verification by a visited first network element, receiving a first message sent by the V-central NF and used for indicating the setting data; and sending, to the H-Consumer NF, a second message used for indicating the setting data. In embodiments of the present disclosure, when an H-Consumer NF requests setting data in a roaming scenario by means of an H-NWDAF, a VPLMN side can perform verification on the basis of user consent, and after the verification, the H-NWDAF sends related data to the H-Consumer NF; thus, data exchange between the VPLMN and an HPLMN can be implemented, and the security of user data can also be effectively protected on the basis of user consent."
