MUMBAI, India, July 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511060396 A) filed by Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Haryana, on June 24, for 'day-to-day assistive device for impaired individuals.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A Day-to-day assistive device for impaired individuals, comprising a body 101 carried by a user via a pair of looped straps 102, a vibrating unit 106 for directionally guide user for safe navigation, a holographic projection unit 107 notify nearby individuals of impaired condition of user, a speaker 108 generates audible and haptic alerts to user, to safely navigate, a foldable Braille keyboard 109 equipped with multiple primary pressure sensitive pneumatic pins 111 for enabling user to provide a tactile feedback as displayed on an interactive display screen 113 for improved communication, a microphone 114 captures voice signals from surroundings for selectively activating the secondary pins 118, for generating a tactile feedback, an OCR module configured to read and interpret text, and trigger corresponding secondary pneumatic pins 118, a plurality of chambers 115 equipped with a servo-driven rubberized strip arrangement 116, to dispense specific amounts of cash."
