MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102872 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 25, 2025, for 'deep learning-based system for analyzing bitcoin transaction data.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Rajeev Sobti; Balpreet Singh; Dr. Balraj Kumar; and Dr. Neeta Raj Sharma.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A deep learning-based system for analyzing Bitcoin transaction data, comprises of a data pre-processing module 101 configured to clean, transform, and reduce dimensionality of Bitcoin transaction data using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), a classification model 102 utilizing deep learning protocols to distinguish between legitimate and illegitimate Bitcoin entities, a prediction module 103 configured to forecast Bitcoin market prices using parameters and features inherent to Bitcoin transactions, and a performance evaluation module 104 configured to evaluate the classification and prediction performance."
