MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621030279 A) filed by Meril Corporation (I) Private Limited, Valsad, Gujarat, on March 13, for 'delivery device for deploying a stent.'
Inventor(s) include Kothwala, Deveshkumar Mahendralal; Solanki, Himanshu Rajesh; and Patel, Bhuminkumar Kaushikbhai.

The anchor assembly (170) includes a body (172) having an internal cavity (172a) and a plurality of slots (172b) circumferentially disposed on an outer surface of the body (172) and in communication with the internal cavity (172a), a plurality of engaging members (174) disposed within a corresponding one of the plurality of slots (172b) configured to move between a radially inward and outward position relative to the body (172), an actuator (176) disposed within the internal cavity (172a) and configured to move axially relative to the body (172)."
