MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010130 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'detachable goods carriage device.'
Inventor(s) include Shri Bhagwan.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A detachable goods carriage device, comprising a cuboidal frame 1 having first portion installed with a coupler hitch 2 for attaching frame 1 with four-wheeler vehicle for transporting from one place to another, a platform 5 initially stored in stowed state arranged with a second portion of frame 1 via a pair of motorized hinges for allowing user to load goods to be transported within frame 1 via platform 5, a camera 7 for detecting number and type of goods accommodated within frame 1, a communication module configured with microcontroller for sending alert on computing unit to notify user, an inflatable member 11 equipped on side wall of frame 1 for reducing collision of goods with side walls, and a motorized roller 8 configured at top portion of frame 1 and wrapped with metallic sheet 9 attached with pair of telescopically operated rods 10 for deploying to cover top portion."
