MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541122780 A) filed by B V Raju Institute Of Technology, Narsapur, Telangana, on Dec. 5, 2025, for 'development of fog computing for monitoring the health using iot technolagies.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. K. Subba Rao; and Jwala Persis.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Now Present days, the need for medical assistance is increasing. Smart healthcare is a challenge. a crucial component of linked existence. Health care is he one of human needs and the foundation of intelligent health care the company is expected to generate billions of dollars in sales in the near future. Smart has several components healthcare including Internet of Things (IoT),Fog computing, next-generation wireless communication technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI). Due to the ability of IoT de vices to include sensors, IoT will play a significant role in the healthcare industry. It is used to remotely monitor human health issues in real-time. This information flow with rich data cannot be handled by cloud infrastructure alone. We so came up with a straightforward and reasonable solution. When utilizing FOG as a median, this may provide excellent insight into precise vital values. Machine learning techniques are utilized in notification systems to address the issues. These algorithms are designed to enhance how a prediction process using diverse inputs is executed."
