MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517036111 A) filed by Linde Gmbh, Pullach, Germany, on April 14, for 'device and method for degassing water.'

Inventor(s) include Bauer Ludwig; Flegiel Felix; and Otte Daniel.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method of degassing water to purify the water from at least one undesired gas which is dissolved in the water comprises a first step of introducing a first feed water stream (1) in contact with a first stripping gas to separate the water from the at least one undesired gas dissolved in the water to yield a first water product stream wherein the first stripping gas is at least one gas selected from N2 02 and H2 which is essentially free from the at least one undesired gas."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 03, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/025458.
