According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a device (100) and a method for object tracking. The device (100) for tracking an object includes Radio Frequency (RF) communication module(s) (102) for transmitting and receiving RF signals, a crystal (104) for establishing timing control with functioning of the device (100), a speaker segment (106) and LED (Light Emitting Diode) segment(s) (108). Alert signals are sent by the device (100) about the object associated with the device (100) via the RF communication module (102), the speaker segment (106), and the LED segment(s) (108) after pre-determined period(s) of time. Alert signals may include wireless signals, audio signals, and light signals. The device (100) may be permanently configured on the object to be tracked using the device (100). The alert signals may encode object information and/or the device information. The device (100) remains in sleep mode during the pre-determined period(s) to save energy."
