MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514078111 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 18, 2025, for 'device and method for performing sounding sequence in wireless communication system.'
Inventor(s) include Eun Sung Jeon.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are a device and a method for performing a sounding sequence in a wireless communication system. A method of an access point communicating with a station in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system includes obtaining a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame including one or more fields, the one or more fields being associated with an encoder for encoding channel information, and transmitting the NDPA frame to the station."
