MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517038242 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 21, for 'device for calculating battery efficiency of electric vehicle and operation method thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Jung, Boo Soon; Kim, Joo Sung; Choi, Yo Hwan; and Choi, Min Sook.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery efficiency calculation device according to an embodiment disclosed in the present document may comprise: a data collection unit which collects usage data of an electric vehicle; a weather data acquisition unit which acquires weather forecast data from an external server; and a calculation unit which calculates the efficiency of a battery of the electric vehicle on the basis of the usage data and the weather forecast data."
