MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517094125 A) filed by Russi, Martin; and Olmedo, Santiago, Montevideo, Uruguay, on Sept. 30, for 'device for correcting rotational malalignment syndrome.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a device for correction in the rotational plane of the axis of long bones during growth spurts, wherein the device comprises a fixing plate and a guide-stop to generate the relative rotation of bone zones where the plate and the guide-stop are respectively fixed. The invention also relates to a minimally invasive technique and positioning guide for the placement of said device."
