MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517048326 A) filed by Aptar France Sas, Le Neubourg, France, on May 19, for 'device for dispensing a fluid product, comprising a pump.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a device for dispensing a fluid product, comprising a pump (10) having a pump body (11) attached to a neck (2) of a reservoir (1) containing a fluid product to be dispensed, said neck (2) comprising an upper axial edge (2'), a compression element (9; 9') being arranged on said upper axial edge (2'), said pump comprising a turret (50), said turret (50) comprising an attachment portion (51) for direct attachment to said pump body (11), a compression portion (52) for compressing said compression element (9; 9') on said upper axial edge (2') of said neck (2), and a fitting sleeve (53) extending axially downwards under said compression portion (52), said fitting sleeve (53) fitting into said neck (2) of said reservoir (1) during the assembly of said pump (10) on said reservoir (1), said fitting sleeve (53) comprising at least one radial sealing profile (54) which, after assembly, sealingly engages with said neck (2) of said reservoir (1)."
