MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202518067114 A) filed by Radexel Inc., Gangwon, Republic of Korea, on July 14, for 'device for generating magnetic field and method for controlling same.'

Inventor(s) include Lee, Jeong Won.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a radiation treatment apparatus (10) for treating affected tissue of a subject using photon beam radiation. The apparatus (10) comprises a radiation generating unit (100) configured to irradiate the tissue, and a magnetic field generating unit (200) including a capacitor element, at least one coil, and a switch element to connect or disconnect the capacitor to/from the coil. A radiation amount control unit (500) adjusts the phase of the magnetic field. A synchronization control unit (700) synchronizes the radiation pulse with a magnetic field pulse by controlling the coil current via the switch element, thereby supplying pulse power to generate a pulse-type magnetic field. The radiation pulse and magnetic field pulse temporally overlap, and the control unit (500) matches a reference intensity period in the magnetic field pulse with the period in which secondary electrons are generated."

The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 23, 2021, under International application No.PCT/KR2021/005131.
