MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527030613 A) filed by Agarcov, Alexandr A; and Agarcova, Natalia, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, on March 29, for 'device for inserting protective elements in an armored protection layer.'

Inventor(s) include Agarcov, Alexandr; and Agarcova, Natalia.

The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The proposed invention making an armored protection layer in the form of a base with grooves made in it and protection elements made of high-strength materials inserted therein, where: - the grooves are designed in such a way that they completely overlap each other in both vertical and horizontal directions, - the grooves can be made both without deviation from the vertical direction and at an angle a to the vertical axis, - the grooves made at an angel to the vertical axis can be located both on the outside of the base and on its inside, - the grooves can have openings for installing protective elements both in their upper part and from the side, - the grooves can be made both for each protective element and for several protective elements inserted in both horizontal and vertical directions, - the armored protection layer may contain an anti-fragmentation layer."

The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 30, 2024, under International application No.PCT/MD2024/000001.
