MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311084465 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 11, 2023, for 'device for levelling ground surface.'
Inventor(s) include Vineet Pandey; Mohd Arif; and Anshu Tomar.
The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for levelling ground surface, comprises a body 1 configured with a heavy weight plate 2 attached at a distal portion of the body 1 to allow a user to lift the body 1 and push over the ground surface, an artificial intelligence based camera 3 mounted over the body 1 to capture multiple images of surroundings, a tactile sensor installed beneath the plate 2 to determine hardness of the surface, a pump 5 installed within a chamber 6 attached with the body 1 to dispense water over the surface via a nozzle 7 integrated within the body 1, a pressure sensor installed beneath the plate 2 to measure pressure applied by the user while pushing the body 1 towards the ground surface and a laser sensor paired with the camera 3, installed over the body 1 to detect levelling of the surface."
