MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025453 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'device for pulling of a bearing.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for pulling of a bearing, comprises of a puller rod 1 having a plurality of teeth 2, a rectangular base 11 for accommodating all the components, a slider 3 for providing sliding to puller rod 1, telescopic legs 4 having a motorized omnidirectional wheel 5 for movement of the base 11, a brake shoe for prevent a movement of the base 11, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 9 for capturing and processing multiple images in vicinity of the base 11, a robotic arm 8 for accommodating spray nozzle 7, a spray nozzle 7 to spray a lubricant to facilitate removal of the bearing, a speaker 10 to generate an audio alert regarding the corroded bearing, a microphone for receiving audio commands from an user."
