According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Techniques are disclosed for differential privacy-based protection of data in a communication network environment. In one example, from a user equipment perspective, a method comprises receiving, by user equipment, a data privacy configuration, wherein the data privacy configuration specifies a differential privacy mechanism to be applied by the user equipment prior to sending data to a communication network for use by a third-party application. The method further comprises applying, at the user equipment, the differential privacy mechanism to the data, and sending, from the user equipment, the data to the communication network in response to application of the differential privacy mechanism. The method may further comprise applying a portion of differential privacy at the network (e.g., gNB) in order to achieve a total differential privacy for a configured list of information elements."
