MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004723 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 23, 2024, for 'digital box securing device.'

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a digital box securing device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 developed to be positioned on fixed surface, an extendable platform 2 installed within body 1 for allowing user to place a digital box as per requirement, a plate 3 attached with body 1 via a pair of motorized sliders 4 for covering body 1 from top, a camera 5 installed within body 1 for detecting dimension of digital box, a motorized roller 6 attached within body 1 for wrapping cable by a telescopically operated gripper 7 installed within body 1, an elongated member 8 attached with roller 6 via a motorized hinge for preventing unwrapping of cable from roller 6, and a microphone 9 installed on body 1 accessed by user to give voice command regarding accessing digital box."
