MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104167 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 29, 2025, for 'digitally controlled emergency vehicle starter device.'

Inventor(s) include Akash Gupta; Alif Md Khairul Arshi; and Dr. Manjeet Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a digitally controlled emergency vehicle starter device (100) powered by a 220V AC source. It employs an SMPS module (104) to generate a 14.4V DC regulated output, monitored and controlled by a microcontroller (114) through feedback from voltage (116) and current sensors (112). The system uses PWM-driven MOSFET (118) regulation, fuse (108) and relay (110) protection, and a temperature sensor (120) for safety. A user interface (124) with display (126) and buttons (128) allows control, while a 15-foot cable (132) with clamps (134) ensures convenient vehicle connection. The device provides an adaptive, safe, and efficient power boost to start vehicles with weak batteries without needing another vehicle."
